U.S. News and World Report has once again awarded some top honors to IUP.
This time, three masters programs were honored for the 2024 best online programs rankings. IUP’s masters in criminal justice, education and nursing online programs were selected out of 1752 programs that were considered by the publication. The programs were evaluated on their strong traditional academic foundations based on student-instructor access, graduation rates and instructor credentials. The programs also were evaluated on how well programs excel at educating distance learners while offering robust career and financial support. The rankings are based on data from Academic Insights, which includes the number of faculty with Ph.D’s or terminal degrees, graduation rate, alumni giving, and student to faculty ratio along with other factors.
This ranking comes on the heels of IUP being ranked in the 2024 US News and World Report’s annual list of best colleges and the Wall Street Journal and College Pulse’s America’s best college list in 2024. IUP was also included in the Princeton Review’s 2024 Best Colleges guidebook.
