The anticipated move of some of Indiana Borough’s offices is getting underway soon.
According to an announcement posted to the borough’s Facebook page, Indiana Borough’s administration, planning and zoning and code enforcement departments will temporarily relocate to the Indiana County Courthouse Annex starting March 24th. During the transition, phone lines for those departments may be down. Staffers in those offices have email addresses that you can use to contact them directly, and the email addresses can be found on the borough website, http://www.indianaboro.com/contact-directory
Starting on March 25th, utility bills may be paid in person at the courthouse annex or use the drop box in the borough hall. Parking tickets can be paid using that drop box or by going to the parking garage to pay them in person.
As far as Indiana Borough Police go, there will be no changes. The police will remain in the borough hall and their phone numbers will remain the same.
The offices are relocating to the former office of the district court while renovations are going on at the borough building, and the temporary offices will be used until the end of the project, which is sometime in 2025.
