Indiana Borough Police have charged one person with trespassing following an incident Saturday evening. Officers say they were summoned to a home in the 00 block of North 3rd Street shortly before 9 o’clock for a report of a woman, later identified as 38-year-old April Boucher, refusing to leave the property. Boucher allegedly received several prior warnings to leave before officers arrived. She was taken to Indiana County Jail and arraigned before District Judge Robert Bell for a charge of defiant trespass.
Indiana Borough Police have released details on an incident that happened in late May. Police say they conducted a traffic stop near 800 Philadelphia Street around 12:41 AM on May 19th and found 48-year-old William Jefferson of Indiana had consumed alcohol to the point where he was unsafe to drive. He was taken into custody and submitted to a blood draw. A criminal complaint of DUI was filed through District Judge Tony Sottile’s office.
