State police are investigating a retail theft in White Township dating back to June 9th.
Troopers say two men entered the Walmart along Oakland Avenue around 3:30 p.m. and intended to buy $3,200 worth of jewelry. During the transaction, one of the men distracted the cashier and paid only $1,100, leaving $2,100 worth of jewelry unpaid for.
Surveillance footage showed the suspects leaving the plaza a short time later in a black Mercedez-Benz GLS SUV that was parked in the nearby McDonald’s parking lot.
Both suspects are described as white men. One had medium, dark hair and a beard, with a black t-shirt with “EA” and the number 7 in white across his chest with a wristwatch and blue jeans. The second had short, dark hair wearing a light blue, collared shirt with blue jeans.
