The State Games of America Swimming competition completed on Sunday at the University of CA San Diego (UCSD) Canyon View Aquatic Center, and one swimmer representing the YMCA of Indiana brought home the Gold.
Jasmin Uptegraph captured the gold medal in the 200 Meter Backstroke in the 15-18 years old age group. She was one of three YMCA of Indiana swimmers competing at the games. Giada Hajnos won silver medals in the 200 Meter Medley Relay and 200 Meter Freestyle Relay in the 13-14 year old age group. Uptegraph also won a silver in those same races in her age group.
