The Indiana and Blairsville Rite Aid Pharmacies are not on the recent list of stores that will close as part of the company’s bankruptcy filings.
A list released yesterday showed 11 closings announced in this recent round. Ten of the eleven stores are in Ohio and Michigan while the other will be in Los Angeles, California. Most of the closures as of late have been in Ohio and Michigan.
Since last October, the Pennsylvania-based company has announced the closing of 780 stores across the nation. Rite Aid’s bankruptcy plan was approved last June in federal court, allowing the company to cut $2 billion in debt and turn over control of the company to a group of lenders.
