While the Indiana County Fair doesn’t officially get underway until Sunday, there is some activity today and tomorrow at the fairgrounds.
Today is the first of two days of harness racing at the grandstand racetrack. First races of the day will be at 2:00 PM each day.
More activity is anticipated tomorrow as all exhibits except livestock and Christmas trees will be accepted from Noon to 7:00 PM. Those exhibits will be judged at 9:00 AM on Saturday. There will also be two grandstand events on Saturday, one an antique tractor pull at 9:00 AM and the other a modified and farm tractor pull at 7:00 PM.
Admission for the grandstand events is $10.
Sunday will be faith and family day, where admission to the fairground will be free all day. The crowning of the fair queen will be at 5:00 PM, with the Harvest Home Festival church service to follow at 6:30.
