The Indiana County Fair officially kicks off tomorrow, but there will be activity at the fairgrounds today.
Exhibits that were submitted today will go through the judging process today, and carcass livestock will be received at the fairgrounds at Mack Park. Two tractor pulls are also on the schedule. The one at 9:00 this morning involves antique tractors and the other is the modified and farm tractor pull at 7:00 PM. Grandstand admission for the pulls is $10.
The fair officially opens on Sunday, with free admission to the fairgrounds for Faith and Family Day. Along with livestock and Christmas trees being brought in, there will be the kids pedal tractor pull starting at 12:30. The 4-H club will hold a dog show at 1:00 PM, and an antique motor and machinery parade starts at 4:00. The Indiana County Fair Queen will be crowned at 5:00 and the Home Harvest Festival church service will start at 6:30.
