The Burrell Township library in Black Lick now has a smaller version posted outside the building to help expand book access.
The new Little Free Library was a recent project of the Indiana Kiwanis Club, who worked with Burrell Township Supervisors and the township library to install it. The mission of the Little Free Libraries is to inspire readers, expand book access and help build the community, which are along the same lines of the missions of the township library and Kiwanis, International.

The new mini-library was part of an effort from the Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation and the Young Children Priority One Committee through the club.
