The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Joe Brand will take over as the new play-by-play commentator.
Brand will join color analyst and two-time Stanley Cup Champion Phil Borque in the broadcast booth. He comes from Chicago after spending three seasons as studio host and fill-in play-by-play man for the Blackhawks. He has also spent over the last 10 years calling games in multiple sports.
Meanwhile Paul Steigerwald will return to hosting pre- and post-game hosting duties.
