PSP-INDIANA
State police are continuing to investigate an incident of drug possession in White Township last Sunday. Troopers say on September 1st, officers pulled over a 20-year-old Indiana man at the intersection of Markle Circle and Grandview Avenue and was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Officers found marijuana and drug-related paraphernalia in the vehicle with him. Charges are pending the results of a blood test.
A man could face DUI charges from an incident in late August. State troopers conducted a traffic stop on Franklin Street in Clymer Borough on August 26th at 11:53 AM and found that the suspect, identified only as being a 34-year-old from Greensburg was found to be wanted out of Westmoreland County and was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was taken into custody and submitted to a legal blood draw before taken to Indiana County Jail to await extradition. Charges are pending the result of a blood test.
