Friday was busy for Indiana County’s First Responders.
The day started with an Automatic Fire Alarm activation for Indiana Fire Association along Kolter Drive in White Township at 9:56 AM. Commodore firefighters would be called out at 10:22 for a flue fire at a home on Juniper Road in Green Township. Two more automatic fire alarms were reported within an hour of each other. One at 1:47 PM on West Indiana Street in Homer City Borough that brought the Homer City Fire Department out. The other was at 2:41 PM on Horseview Road in Black Lick Township. Black Lick, Aultman and Blairsville fire departments were dispatched at the time.
Commodore fire department was called out again at 10:13 PM for a vehicle fire on Route 580 in Green Township, and at 11:17 PM, Clymer Fire Department was called into Green Township for a vehicle accident on Apple Road. They were joined by State Police and Citizens’ Ambulance.
