On Tuesday, the White Township Planning Commission approved a final site plan for a new restaurant along Oakland Avenue.
The plan for a 1,678 square foot Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant between AutoZone and MedExpress passed unanimously and the final stormwater and sewer plans were submitted for review. Township Manager Chris Anderson commended developer Quick Service Realco, LLC. for their efficiency leading up to the plan’s approval.
Representatives with MDM Surveyors and Engineers did not give an exact date, but they hope to open the new restaurant by either spring or summer of next year.
In other business, the Planning Commission heard an update on the township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance from the group HRG. The update included minor changes to the application process and jargon. Anderson said a few edits need to be made but changes to the SALDO are going to be “minimal.”
