Melissa Ann “Missy” Wolfgang, 54, of Creekside, went home to Heaven on Monday, October 7, 2024. Born on November 30, 1969, in Sullivan, MO, she was the daughter of Guy and Cheryl (Michener) Wolfgang.
Missy graduated from Elderton High School in 1987, the then attended Geneva College double majoring in Spanish and English as a Second Language. She then received her Masters in Education at Columbia University, SC.
Missy’s passion in life was Jesus Christ and bringing people closer to him. Through her many years in education as well as through missionary work around the world, Missy truly lived as an example of the love of Jesus.
She loved music, photography, tea parties, reading and life on the farm.
Missy is survived by her parents; siblings Laura (Greg) Spack of Butler, Julie Sabella of NY, and Jason (Angela) Wolfgang of Homer City; nieces and nephews Elizabeth, Daniel, Emily, Rachel, Titan, and Jaxon.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Martha Wolfgang and a niece Rose Walker.
Friends will be received by the family on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4 – 7 PM in the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor Chad Fritz officiating. Interment will be private.
