The temporary traffic signals were removed last week on Route 403 in Marion Center Borough and traffic is flowing freely in both directions in the vicinity of the post office. The bridge closed for replacement in May, with single-lane traffic continuing to use it while the work went on.
PennDOT has not announced yet whether more remains to be done on the $1.36 million project, which included a temporary stream diversion on Pine Run and a sidewalk. Signage remains near the site but is turned away from traffic. The work was originally scheduled to wrap up in December.
