Three fire companies battled a large brush fire in Montgomery Township last evening. Cherry Tree firefighters were summoned to Pioneer Lake Road just after 7 PM and were soon joined by the Glen Campbell and Commodore fire companies.
No police report is available yet on an accident last night in the eastbound lanes of Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township. It happened just before 8 o’clock and Clyde and Armagh/East Wheatfield firefighters responded.
