Indiana County’s First Responders were busy throughout the day on Friday.
The first call of the day was for an automatic fire alarm at 1:02 AM on Pratt Drive in White township that brought the Indiana Fire Association. A vehicle crash was reported on Route 286 East in Green Township at 6:25. Commodore fire department was dispatched at the time. Details on how the crash happened have not been released.
Cherry Tree fire department was called into Clearfield County at 2:35 PM to assist with a physical rescue on Kantz Hill Road in Burnside Township, and would be joined by Commodore fire crews a few minutes later.
Two more vehicle accidents were reported that brought Commodore fire department. One was on Route 286 East in Glen Campbell Borough. They would be aided by Glen Campbell firefighters, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police at 5:00. Then at 6:22 PM, Commodore firefighters were called out again for a crash on Route 403 North in Green Township. State Police and Citizens’ Ambulance joined them on-scene.
