46TH BRUSH FIRE OF THE YEAR REPORTED IN INDIANA COUNTY

Indiana County firefighters were dispatched for the 46^th brush fire call of the year on Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported on Ray Street in Conemaugh Township at 4:17 PM.  Tunnelton, Saltsburg and Iselin/West Lebanon fire departments were dispatched at the time along with Lifestat EMT’s.  No word on how much property was damaged or the cause of the fire.

There were two automatic fire alarms reported on Monday, with the first at 7:49 AM for a property on South 6^th Street in White Township, and the other at 3:33 PM on Hood School Road, also in White Township.  Indiana Fire Association was dispatched both times.

And Cherryhill Township firefighters were called to Diehl Road for a report of utility lines down at 3:07 PM
