Classes are scheduled to run normally today at the Indiana Junior High School after an investigation into a threat yesterday.
Indiana Borough Police say they were called in at 10:30 yesterday morning for the investigation. Details were not released. The investigation is ongoing, but police determined that there is no active threat to student safety.
Police officers worked with school officials and other community partners throughout the day to make sure everyone was safe. Indiana Borough Police will be present both inside and outside the school as always.
The district has not released a statement on the investigation. This marks the second threat at an Indiana School District school in as many months, as there was a threat of a gun reported at the Senior High school in September.
