Max E. Ruddock, 90, of Shelocta, went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 13, 1933 to Carl C. Rosensteel and Mary W. Ruddock in West Lebanon.
Max was a member of the Indiana Church of God, United Mine Workers and the NRA. He was a heavy equipment operator for R&P Coal Company and various companies throughout the area before his retirement. Max enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda M. (Burnisky) Ruddock, Shelocta, Three daughters, Pamela S. O’Harra, (Wilfred), Elderton, Bonnie J. Sickafuse (Stephen), New Castle, Lynn M. Rinehart (Robert), Shelocta, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas Milner (Mary Lynn) South Park, and James Milner (Jane), Cranberry Twp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson Steve O’Harra.
Friends will be received on Friday, from 3-7 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119, N., Indiana, PA 15701 and also on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the Indiana First Church of God, 541 Lutz School Road, Indiana, PA 15701 with Pastor Matthew Lantz officiating.
