A New Florence man wanted for a felony charge of terroristic threats has been taken into custody without incident.
Evan James Stewart, 20, was taken into custody by troopers earlier this afternoon at a location in White Township, Indiana County and is awaiting his preliminary arraignment.
An arrest warrant for Stewart was issued yesterday following investigation into an incident on the main campus of Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC) in which Stewart was overheard yelling and making a threat to shoot a doctor and others at IRMC. IRMC had implemented additional security measures as a result of the reported threat.
Members of the Troop A, Indiana Patrol Unit were assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit.
