Lowanda “Cupie” Campbell-Gaffney, 74 of Blairsville, PA passed away November 5, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Cupie was born February 14, 1950 to John C. and Wanda G. Campbell of Blairsville, PA.
She married her husband, Robert Gaffney on October 21, 1978. She was a graduate of Blairsville Senior High School and the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Dental Assisting. Upon graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, Cupie was employed by the VA Hospital as a dental assistant. Later she was employed as a Route Representative for L’eggs where she became known as the “L’eggs Lady”. Cupie retired in 2012 from WyoTech where she was a Financial Aid representative working mainly with the Veterans Administration and the Veteran students. She was a member of the Blacklick United Methodist Church. Cupie enjoyed nature, animals, camping and attending NASCAR races with her husband and friends. Cupie always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met.
Cupie was preceded in death by her father, John, mother, Wanda and mother-in-law, Gladys Leonard. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Gaffney of Blairsville, PA.
The family will receive friends at Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
