Indiana County’s school districts are back in session following the Veteran’s Day break, and two school boards are scheduled to meet tonight.
The United School Board will consider approving a change order to their HVAC Construction contract. The change allows the district to pay $1,750 more to Eber HVAC, Inc., to remove an existing air diffuser, and to install a round supply diffuser, a new round tap and flexible ductwork and a volume control damper; and to record the new airflow amount. The original contract was worth $1.245 million.
The board will also consider approving a proposal by Jim Penna to deliver a presentation on digital use among students in the district at a cost of $2,000.
The Purchase Line school board will also meet tonight and will consider revisions to several district policies ranging from fiscal objectives to the investment of district funds. Numerous requests are also up for approval for different events at the high school and elementary school buildings, along with a resolution requesting an interim assessment of real property in district municipalities in Indiana and Clearfield Counties.
