An Indiana man is in county jail after a standoff with State Police yesterday in Coral.
The standoff started after 46-year-old Jeffrey Renwick allegedly fired gunshots in the community Thursday afternoon. The shots were fired outside, but Renwick allegedly went back inside his house, initiating the standoff with troopers. After a few hours, police were able to take him into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported.
State police have not released details yet on the incident. Renwick faces charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. Bail was denied as he was uncooperative during his arraignment. He is now in Indiana County Jail awaiting his preliminary hearing on November 25th.
