It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chic Scott. On Friday, November 22, 2024, she passed peacefully at home with her daughter and her sister by her side. Chick was born August 20, 1927, in Ephrata, PA, the youngest of nine siblings.
She married J. Denny Scott and moved to Homer City in 1953. She was best known for being the owner and operator of The Golden Cup Restaurant in Homer City, where she enjoyed laughing and joking with her customers. She also loved her sports cars. She was a member of Homer City United Presbyterian Church, the Homer City Women’s Club, and the Hospital Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jay Denny Scott, her husband, J. Denny Scott, her son-in-law, Mark Jevicky, and four sisters and four brothers.
Chic is survived by her three daughters, Kim (Jake) Jahela, Homer City; Jamie Jevicky, Greensburg; and Whitney (Eddie) Pozik, Homer City.
