IUP was recently recognized as one of the Most Engaged Campuses for College Student Voting in 2024.
The University was honored by the All In Democracy Campus Challenge, which recognizes colleges and universities for outstanding efforts to increase non-partisan student voter participation. Not only did the university take part in the program, but they also shared information on the 2022 National Study of Learning, Voting and Engagement program report with campus voting data with All IN, Developed and Submitted a 2024 democratic engagement action plan and had a commitment from IUP President Dr. Michael Driscoll to the All In Higher Education Presidents’ Commitment to Full Student Voter Participation.
IUP was recognized in October with a Silver Seal from the All In Campus Democracy Challenge for its campus voting rate, meaning that IUP’s campus voting rate falls between 30 and 39 percent.
Over 1200 campuses nationwide took part in the program. IUP was one of 417 colleges and universities recognized for their work in the All In program.
