The Indiana School board last night approved advertising for a new assistant superintendent or director of education.
Current assistant superintendent Justin Zahorchak has accepted a position with the Ligonier Valley School District. Superintendent Rob Heinrich said he appreciated Zahorchak’s work in the district. The district will advertise the position for either the assistant superintendent or director of education to cast a wide net of eligible applicants.
Zahorchak will remain with the district for the next 60 days.
Prior to the regular business meeting, the board held a reorganization vote. Walter Schroth remains the board president, while Sue Reig becomes the new board vice president.
