No injuries were reported as multiple fire companies were called out for a fire in Armstrong Township yesterday.
The call was reported by Indiana County 911 at 5:15 PM at a home along Polo Drive in Shelocta. Elderton, Indiana and Iselin-West Lebanon fire departments were called to the scene along with Citizens’ Ambulance Service and the RIT team. Elderton fire officials said in a post on the department’s Facebook page that the fire turned out to be electrical in nature. The fire was contained to an electrical outlet.
There was another fire call reported at 5:47 yesterday, as Blairsville and Black Lick fire companies responded to a reported vehicle fire on Route 22 East in Burrell Township. Details on that fire have not been released.
