White Township Supervisors on Wednesday entered into a new 30-year agreement with the Indiana Borough Treatment Plant.
The old agreement, signed in 2002, expires at the end of December, and the language for the updated agreement allows more time for financial commitments, an updated mapping exhibit, and collection fees that mirror Indiana Borough’s.
Township Manager Chris Anderson also detailed a fee increase for new residents entering the system.
In other business, Code Enforcement Manager Jon Major said an ordinance is in the works to limit speeds in a cluster of roads along Getty Avenue. This comes after a review of the area revealed no speed signs were posted, and several reports were made to the township regarding speeding on that stretch.
