Wednesday night, the River Valley School Board approved a proposal for a door replacement project.
The proposal will replace exterior doors at the Blairsville Elementary and the River Valley Middle-High School Campus. The cost will not exceed $455,000 and will be paid through the bond budget. There was a problem as the proposal was not attached to the agenda for the board to look at. After reviewing the proposal during the meeting, the board unanimously accepted the proposal. While it was an accident this time, Board president Rick Harper said he doesn’t want it happening again.
At the reorganization meeting held before the voting meeting, the board re-elected Harper and Connie Constantino as board president and vice president.
