Beth Ann (Weinberg) Krug, 71, of Indiana, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Boston Massachusetts on April 8, 1953, she was the daughter of the late David Henry and Sophie R. (Pearlmutter) Weinberg. Beth was the wife of Michael Krug, whom she married July 4, 1985.
She obtained a Master’s degree from Millersville University and a Certificate from the Pennsylvania School of Optometry. Beth was a special education teacher and taught for 13 years at the Maryland School of the Blind, teaching for more than 40 years in total.
Beth enjoyed music, singing and dancing. She loved hiking, camping, and traveling with her family to Colorado and Florida. Beth could often be heard cheering WAR EAGLE for the Auburn Tigers Basketball team, where her cousin, Bruce is a coach. More importantly Beth loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Michael Krug, of Indiana; and children: Jennifer (Dennis) Ding, of Las Vegas; Peggy Rose Krug, of Austin, Texas; and Joshua Michael Krug (Ashley Lewis), of Indiana. Beth will be missed by her grandchildren: Danielle and Nicole Ding, of Las Vegas; and Cleo Rose Krug, of Indiana; and her sister: Cheryl (Lee Berkowitz) Weinberg, of Sharon, Massachusetts. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Ben, Mose, Abra Berkowitz; and cousins: Lauren Pearl and family, Bruce Pearl and family, and Elaine Morris.
Friends will be received on Sunday, January 5th, from 2:00 until 3:00 PM and 5:00 until 7:00 at Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana. A celebration of life service will be held on January 19th, 2025 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM, at Spaghetti Benders, Indiana.
