Faye Ann Trimble, 84, of Indiana, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at her home surrounded by her daughters.
The daughter of the late Ralph E. and Mildred O. (Foster) McCune, she was born Jan. 17, 1940, in Blairsville.
Mrs. Trimble was a 1958 graduate of Blairsville High School. After graduation she worked at GC Murphy Store in Blairsville, until she met and married the love of her life, Thomas Trimble. They were married Dec. 12, 1964 and shared almost 53 years of marriage until his passing. Mrs. Trimble was above all a loving wife, mother and enjoyed being a grandmother. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker to her family including her extended family. During her life, she helped care for many family members in her home. She also was the secretary for the family farm, Earl Loc Farm, Inc. She was a long-time member of Grace Church in Indiana. In her younger years, she was involved with the Girl Scouts. She also served on the Elections Committee for Indiana County, White Township #1 in various positions including minority inspector for many years.
She is survived by three daughters: Gladys Trimble, of Indiana; Nancy Kline and husband Stephen, of Creekside; and Tammy Gerhart, of Ernest; and Chris Fox, of Indiana; two grandchildren: Averie Gerhart and Dylan Gerhart, of Ernest; a brother-in-law, Duane Trimble and wife Catherine, of Indiana; a sister-in-law, Margaret Trimble, of Clymer and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Trimble; two brothers, Ralph Edison McCune and Robert McCune.
Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025 at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana, with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
