State police are seeking input from the community as part of the accreditation process through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.
Between now and the 25th, the public can take an online survey to provide feedback on the agency’s performance, professionalism, and community engagement. It is meant to gather honest feedback and insights that will guide the state police in the future. The CALEA process evaluates a police agency against a set of internationally recognized best practices. Pennsylvania State Police first achieved accreditation in 1993 and has maintained it since then.
