Some areas of Homer City may see a drop in water pressure this morning due to a water main break last night in the borough.
The break was reported by the Central Indiana County Water Authority around 9:00 last night in the area of Sycamore Street and was affecting customers on Sycamore, Canal and Railroad Streets. Crews were able to put a temporary fix in, but due to the cold conditions, they were not able to do a full repair last night.
Crews will return to the area this morning to start work on a full restoration of water service. Until then, customers on the aforementioned streets will see a drop in water pressure today.
