The United Way of Indiana County unveiled their grand total from the Soup-er Bowl held Monday evening at Levity Brewing.
According to a Facebook post, approximately $10,726 was raised through the sales of 1,014 bowls of soup. Officials say 40 deliveries made to homes and business and 77 volunteers came together to make the event happen.
C.H. Fields Kraft Kitchen’s beer cheese soup once again took home first prize, even selling out their entire stock of 285 servings. The Road Side in Shelocta was the runner-up and 9th Street Deli came in third.
Up next for the United Way is the “Gala for the Goal” at Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort and Conference Center in Blairsville. That will take place February 15th.
