Two Indiana County banks are in the top 100 on Forbes’ “Best Banks in America” list.
Both First Commonwealth Bank and S&T Bank ranked on the annual list, with S&T ranked 46th and First Commonwealth ranked 68th. The list was compiled from a field of 200 banking institutions through data from S&T Global Market Intelligence. The final rankings, put together by the editors, measured growth, credit quality and profitability for the 2024 calendar year over ten different categories along with stock performance over a 12-month time span.
This marks the seventh straight year First Commonwealth was named to the list. CEO Mike Price said that the company, in his words, “is blessed to have a fantastic team of employees who work cohesively to make these recognitions a reality and to improve the financial lives of our friends and neighbors.”
S&T has not yet issued a statement on their ranking.
