Tuesday night, the White Township Planning Commission approved the final site plan for Rural King at the Indiana Mall.
Ordinarily, a business going into the mall would not need approval from the board, but because the company wanted to expand on the property, a final site plan was needed. They plan to have the main entrance to the store on the Oakland Avenue Side at the former Kmart, and expanding to include a 900 square foot outdoor vestibule, sales area and a propane refilling area.
The commission gave conditional approval to a final site plan at Washington Gardens I and II for a new Seven Brews coffee location. Code Enforcement Officer Jonathan Major said that one concern was the number of parking spaces for the property, but he said that the property will be a drive-through facility only.
Final approval will come once the sewer plan is passed.
