First responders were busy yesterday for several incidents in Indiana County.
Apart from the crash that took out a utility pole and a fence near IUP’s campus yesterday, Indiana Borough police were dispatched to a crash at 8:26 AM at the intersection of North Clymer Avenue, at the intersection of Oak Street. The crash was an angle-type collision and minor injuries were reported.
Crews were called out for another crash on Route 56 in Brush Valley Township at 4:03 in the afternoon. Brush Valley fire department, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were dispatched at the time.
And crews are currently on the scene of a fire at 447 Clark Hollow Road between New Florence and Fairfield. Clyde and Armagh-East Wheatfield fire departments were called to the scene at 5:25 this morning to assist Westmoreland County fire crews.
