The District 6 basketball tournaments get underway tonight with four girls Class A games and one girls game in Quad-A. The No. 7 Purchase Line girls make the long trek to Bellefonte to play No. 2 St. Joseph’s.
Tomorrow’s action includes four boys AA games, all involving Heritage Conference teams. No. 5 Homer-Center visits No. 4 Northern Cambria on WCCS and Renda Digital TV. No. 3 United will play host to No. 6 Bishop McCort on Cat Country 106.3 FM. No. 8 Penns Manor is at top seed West Branch and No. 2 Portage will play host to No. 7 Claysburg-Kimmel.
The Tuesday action also includes a AAA matchup of Marion Center at Penns Valley.
The girls AA and AAA brackets tip off on Wednesday and Indiana’s girls return to action on Wednesday against Peters Township. In AA, No. 8 Homer-Center visits top seed Bishop McCort, No. 2 Penns Manor hosts No. 7 Claysburg-Kimmel, No. 6 United will visit No. 3 Southern Huntingdon, and No. 4 Bellwood Antis will welcome No. 5 Portage.
In AAA, top seed River Valley will host No. 8 West Shamokin and No. 4 Marion Center will welcome No. 5 Cambria Heights.
