While Indiana County came out of a winter weather advisory earlier today, another one is about to go into effect.
A cold weather advisory will start at 7:00 tonight and end at 10:00 tomorrow morning. During that time, temperatures will go down to the single digits and wind chills between 10 and 15 degrees below zero are expected. If appropriate precautions are not taken, it could result in hypothermia. People are advised to bring pets indoors as much as possible. If traveling, use caution and wear appropriate clothing, including a hat and gloves. People are also advised to check in on elderly neighbors, family and friends, and if you are using a portable heater, use it safely and correctly.
