Indiana Borough Police are asking for help with a hit-and-run investigation in the downtown Indiana area on Sunday. Police say that the collision happened between 7:30 and 7:45 PM. The victim’s car, described as a black sports car, was parked on the south side in the 700 block of Philadelphia Street. The sports car sustained damage to the right front side. Anyone with information on the hit-and-run can call police at 724-349-2121.
A Homer City teenager faces criminal mischief after an incident in Indiana Borough on January 20th. Borough Police say 19-year-old Kaylie Redmond had damaged a window at a home in the 300 block of South 5th Street, where a known man was currently living. Redmond was charged via a summons through District Judge Tony Sottile’s office.
A Johnstown woman is charged with simple assault and harassment. Indiana Borough Police said they were called out for an incident on February 2nd at 2:26 AM in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street. Police discovered 20-year-old Shamaria Carr of Johnstown was involved in a fight with another unidentified woman. The victim was assisted by medics on-scene. Charges were filed through district judge Sottile’s office.
