Firefighters from Indiana and Westmoreland counties were summoned to a rail car fire in West Wheatfield Township Tuesday morning.
Clyde, Armagh and New Florence fire departments were dispatched to the railroad tracks along Climax Road around 10:17 a.m. This was the second time since Friday that crews were called to the scene and Tom Baker with the Clyde Fire Department said it was never fully put out.
Baker adds the cause of the fire was some trash inside the car.
No damage or injuries were reported, and crews are returning to the scene later to fully extinguish the fire.
