Pitt entertains Syracuse tonight at the Petersen Events Center. Coach Jeff Capel’s Panthers are looking for their second straight win after beating Miami on Saturday. Pitt beat the Orange, 77-73, on January 25th.
Capel said yesterday that leading scorer Jaland Lowe has been medically cleared to play and will be back in the lineup for tonight’s game. He did not play Saturday due to lingering concussion symptoms suffered when he took a hit to the head earlier in the week during Pitt’s loss at SMU.
Because of the District 6 basketball playoffs, there’s no radio for Pitt on WCCS tonight. The game tips off at 7.
