First Commonwealth Bank recently named Michael Cirilli as its new Chief Compliance Officer. Cirilli takes over for Linda Metzmaier, who was promoted to Chief Risk Officer in January.
Cirilli has nearly 18 years of financial services experience, nine of which were as a senior compliance examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and will oversee fair lending, regulatory compliance, and AML/CFT areas. Prior to his financial career, Cirilli was a cryptologic linguist with the U.S. Air Force.
Metzmaier said in a news release that they are glad to have him in this “critical role,” which is a part of First Commonwealth’s realignment of its risk area.
