Several Criminal Call hearings are scheduled in Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas today. One will be for a woman accused of suffocating her infant child last year.
Patricia Ann Hullenbaugh is due in front of President Judge Thomas Bianco for her hearing this morning. She has been in Indiana County Jail on charges of criminal homicide, possession of an instrument of crime, endangering the welfare of children, and two counts of strangulation, all stemming from an incident on January 6, 2024.
Police said she initially called 911 to report that her child stopped breathing and claimed that he was hanging out of his crib with his face in the mattress. She later recanted her story to police, admitting she smothered the child with a blanket. This is her fifth Criminal Call hearing in front of Judge Bianco.
