Officials at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport say construction of a new terminal likely won’t be completed until early 2026. Winter weather has put Phase One construction behind by about two months, according to officials.
The new terminal is expected to be 32,000 square feet and will allow for larger waiting areas and additional TSA security gates. Authority engineer Scott Kunselman said Phase One is now expected two be completed next February.
The project was originally scheduled to be finished this December.
