Investors and financial professionals from across Pennsylvania attended a day-long program at the KCAC to learn about collaboration with Indiana County and the economic landscape.
Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. hosted “The Regional Economy Part II: Indiana, PA” and it was co-presented by First Commonwealth Bank and S&T Bank, Indiana’s two largest banks. Leadership Pittsburgh President and CEO Jenn Beer presided over the event and urged attendees to get familiar with Indiana and see how collaborations work. She also emphasized the potential within the county, highlighting Indiana’s booming downtown district and the community outreach done by businesses and organizations.
S&T Bank Chief Executive Officer Chris McComish told investors Indiana County is the place to leave a legacy.
Mike Price, First Commonwealth Financial Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer, said he hopes investors can see the potential for prosperity in Indiana County’s future.
Following a series of morning presentations, attendees were taken to Jimmy Stewart airport for lunch and speeches from local business owners and government figures, then they were divided up for site visits and Happy Hour at Levity Brewing Company.
