IUP students are enjoying the final days of Spring Break, but on-campus operations are still going strong.
Officials with the College of Osteopathic Medicine are working on reaching more clinical training agreements with hospitals and other rural medical facilities. They currently have 10, including agreements with IRMC, Punxsutawney Area Hospital, and Armstrong Country Memorial Hospital, and founding Dean Dr. Miko Rose says an affinity for locality has helped seal those deals.
Meanwhile, the Indiana Area Collaborative Team, or I-ACT, will meet with local stakeholders Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock to prepare for the unsanctioned IUPatties weekend. University President Dr. Michael Driscoll is expected to make comment, as well as on-campus organizations.
Students will return to campus over the weekend and classes will pick back up on Monday.
