The state House is back at work this week following three weeks of budget hearings.
One of the more prominent bills on the agenda would create a Rural Healthcare Grant Program that would provide financial incentives to licenses nurses and physicians who live and work in rural communities. There are ten committee meetings scheduled Monday, eight on Tuesday, and six on Wednesday.
While the Senate does not return to session until next Monday, the 24th, there are committee meetings this week, including two meetings of the Majority Policy Committee outside of Harrisburg, in Allegheny and Washington counties.
