The Penns Manor Comets get a second shot at Bishop McCort tonight in the girls AA state basketball semifinals, with a chance to play for the state title at Hershey next Thursday.
The Comets lost to the Crushers, 54-49, in the District 6 championship game just weeks ago, after leading the game, 39-35, entering the fourth quarter. Too many turnovers and too few rebounds were the culprits for Penns Manor in the game, but Bishop McCort is talented and deep, and coach Jason Miloser knows his team will have to be sharp tonight at Central Cambria High School.
Miloser says the Crushers are led by Cami Beppler, but they have plenty of other offense.
The winner tonight will face the winner between Berlin Brothersvalley and Mountain View, who will play each other at Mechanicsville. You can watch Penns Manor/Bishop McCort on Renda Digital TV beginning at 6:15 with the Platinum Visual Solutions Pregame Show.
